Tara Doyle and Tia Lloyd are Ferndale High School graduates and sisters who for years have talked about going into business together but there were always reasons not to. Then, when Doyle’s employer moved the company and her job out of state, stay-at-home mom Lloyd realized her own kids were requiring less of her attention as they were getting older. It appeared the timing was finally right.
And so, they began planning and Tiara Fashion Plus is the result. Primarily a women’s clothing store but also stocking children’s and men’s wear, Tiara Fashion Plus, at 2074 Vista Drive will open its doors for a soft-opening this weekend, February 13th. A grand-opening is planned for February 20th and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Ferndale Chamber will be held February 23rd.
Lloyd and Doyle told Discover Ferndale the business’ tagline, “Affordable fashion for all sizes,” says it all. They will be offering a variety of clothing styles in sizes ranging from extra-small to 6-x. They also have a section of the store featuring Seahawks jerseys, shirts, hats and caps.
Tiara Fashion Plus hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
