Not everything that happens in and around Ferndale ends up in a story. The daily “Ticker” story is where you can find those items, answer the question, “why am I hearing sirens?” and get early info on breaking news while the story is being written.
- 3:15pm A boat on a trailer was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Main Street. Multiple agencies were alerted and provided a description. UPDATE: 4:15pm Subject located his boat and alerted the Ferndale PD. But upon arriving it appeared to the officers that the boat had moved on.
- 1:40pm Report of a non-injury collision of semi truck vs car at LaBounty Drive and Main Street.
- 11:25am Vehicle versus tree on Hovander Road. Vehicle was in the ditch and one person required medical aid.
