Not everything that happens in and around Ferndale ends up in a story. “The Ticker” is where you can find those items, answer the question, “why am I hearing sirens?” and get early info on breaking news while the story is being written.
- 3:10pm A vehicle ran into a pole in the 4700 block of Rural Avenue causing a localized power outage affecting over 500 PSE customers. Initial report was that a person was trapped in the vehicle.
- 3:05pm A semi-truck and passenger car collided southbound on I-5 and both were able to pull over just south of Main Street. No injuries. Passenger car had damage on the driver’s door.
