Ferndale teachers’ union – contract ready for a vote

The Ferndale School District (FSD) and the Ferndale Education Association (FEA) have been negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement. 

According to FEA President Tracie Morris, “FEA and FSD did reach a tentative agreement last night. The FEA members will vote August 30th but we believe FEA will vote to ratify.”

The terms of the contract will be made public if union members approve it. Otherwise negotiations will resume.

Classes for the 2016-17 school year are scheduled to begin September 7th.
