Local organization, Miracle Food Network, is holding a food drive that culminates Friday by stuffing all donations into a school bus parked in front of Samuel’s Furniture on Main Street.
According to the organizers,
Help local businesses in our community, with the Ferndale Food Bank, fight hunger in Ferndale by stuffing a school bus full of food!
A Ferndale School District bus will be parked in front of Samuel’s Furniture on Friday, August 5th from 8:00am to 5:00pm (see above for address). We are working alongside members of the community to make sure that the hungry students in the Ferndale School District are well-fed and prepared to learn! Take action in fighting hunger locally, and LOOK FOR THE BUS!
All donations go directly to our Ferndale community through the Ferndale Food Bank.
Monetary donations can be made by visiting The Ferndale Food Bank’s website (please indicate that the donation is towards the “Stuff the Ferndale Bus” event).
