Ferndale Schools had closed. So did the Boys & Girls Club Ferndale Clubhouse. Several businesses and the Ferndale Public Library closed up declaring yesterday, December 12th, a “Snow Day.”
This left free time for many to head to a favorite sledding hill in Ferndale. The hill, located just behind Skyline Elementary School at Thornton Street and Vista Drive, was a raucous busy place yesterday.
While others were out battling the snow and ice, this group was reveling in it.
