Senior Center keeps providing meals while closed

Ferndale, Wash. – The Ferndale Senior Activity Center will be providing lunches for pick-up from 12pm to 12:30pm weekdays beginning today while the Center is closed due to COVID-19 health concerns.

Today’s lunch features pulled chicken with BBQ sauce and bun, veggies, fresh apple slices and kale slaw with a bonus piece of cake and milk. Suggested donations for Center lunches is $5.

Center cook Kelli Nopson was kept busy this morning preparing 30 meals.

Seniors interested in this service are asked to call the Ferndale Senior Activity Center at (360) 384-6244 between 11am and 1pm for details or leave a message at that number.
