Send letters to Santa directly from the Ferndale Post Office

Boys and girls can drop their letters to Santa off at the Ferndale Post Office for express delivery to Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. And they should not be too surprised if they get a response back.

A special mail box has been set up in the Post Office customer service lobby that is picked up every day and the contents sent straight to Santa. The big man himself says you need to put your letter in the box before December 23rd in order for him to mail a response in time for Christmas.

One important tip for making sure the big guy gets your letter and can respond is to make sure you neatly print your full name and address on the envelope. No postage is required because, after all, this is mail to Santa.

Linda Cline, a former postmaster in Monroe, Washington and a Ferndale resident, has been helping Santa get his letters “for about 35 years or so,” she told Discover Ferndale.
