After the disruption of an evacuation forced by a bomb-threat today, December 16th, students returning to classes tomorrow should be aware of a slightly modified routine upon their return.
According to a social media post by the school district, “All bags [left outside during the evacuation] have been collected and taken to the main high school office where they are secure. Students may pick up those bags tomorrow morning in the office.”
According to an announcement from the school district this afternoon,
When students return to school tomorrow, they should report to their fifth period class to collect their belongings and receive instructions for the remainder of the day. It will be a “blue” day for the high school.

Once cleared by law enforcement, Ferndale High School will be closed for the remainder of the day to all students and patrons until tomorrow morning. This will ensure the facility stays secure overnight. Cars in the parking lot areas may be accessed and picked up at this time.
