As promised, once the weather cleared work crews would return to Main Street to take care of the final item on the project task list for that road project. The weather clears tomorrow, Thursday, November 19th, so crews will be at work on Main Street from Barrett Road all the way across the river to 4th Avenue.
Crews will be working to place raised pavement markers. This is the last item on the roadway improvement project that has been going on for several weeks.
Drivers can expect delays throughout the day and should avoid Main Street if possible.
In addition, crews will also be placing raised pavement markers and painting stripes on Malloy Avenue.
Completion of both projects is expected to take two days.
