Racing to beat the dire weather forecast, crews are planning to return to Main Street today, November 9th, and tomorrow to finish work started last week.
According to a message from the city this morning,
starting noon today, Monday, November 9th, traffic will be impacted as the final bit of paving and manhole repairs are completed on Main Street between the Nooksack River and Interstate 5.

Tuesday, November 10th, [work] will start as soon as 7:00am and includes repairing some settled manhole lids [on Main Street] between Hovander Road and LaBounty.
As always, this is good reason to avoid this section of Main Street during these periods of roadwork when possible.
