Resource call center opened for flood victims

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Whatcom County announced today, November 27th, it has set up a call center for those impacted by recent flooding who might not have internet access. The call center, open now, is intended to respond to callers between 8am and 5pm daily.  After hours and depending on call volume, callers may leave messages.

The phone number is 360-788-5303.  Staff are prepared to respond to calls regarding:

  • How to get help (food, shelter, sandbagging, cleanup)
  • Current road conditions, shelter status
  • Reports on conditions from around the county (loose cattle, debris, infrastructure)
  • Resources available 
  • Where to report damage*

Callers will be asked to provide their name and contact information, including address.  Spanish translation is available Monday-Friday, and callers may leave messages in Spanish at any time.
