PSE is reporting power has been restored for most affected customers. The cause has been identified as “bird or animal.”
No additional information to report. PSE estimates service will be restored by 10am (10:30am for the outage in Custer) which is the standard 3-hour window typically assigned. Often it takes less time and occasionally it will take longer.
Add to the list an outage reported at 8:30am in Custer. PSE reports only a few dozen customers are impacted by the outage at this time. Many neighbors reported flickering lights but no loss of service. There has been at least one report of a “loud pop.”
There are several reports of a power outage in the north Ferndale area this morning. The first were reported about 8am today, July 26th. Puget Sound Energy has dispatched work crews to investigate.
The affected area appears to be between Vista Drive and Olson Road and Thornton Street and Brown Road.
