Walking tours through more than a dozen historic slab cedar log cabins in Pioneer Park are now available Tuesdays through Sundays through September 15th.

City of Ferndale provides tour guides who are dressed in period clothes and guide guests through each cabin providing details of the day-to-day life by their original occupants as well as some activities. The collection of cabins are authentic examples of rustic pioneer architecture inside and out.

It is recommended to allow 1.5 to 2 hours for a walking tour but some end up enjoying the tour for upwards of 4 hours according to Ferndale Heritage Society officials.
