Today a procession including the family and representatives from first responder agencies made the trip to a memorial service in Bellingham for former Ferndale Police Chief Michael Knapp.

As a member of the Ferndale Police Department, I was part of the procession. I would like to thank all those people who lined the streets along the route, hats off, hands on their hearts, displaying their flags and their love and respect for this great man. It was so touching and heartwarming. Thank you all.
