The information had been posted in the lobby of the Ferndale Family Medical Center at 5580 Nordic Place. The PeaceHealth Laboratories Patient Service Center located there would be closing February 25th. Patients wondered if there would be another local option taking its place or if patients would be required to travel to Bellingham for blood draws when needing laboratory work.
Fortunately, PeaceHealth recently announced their Laboratories Patient Service Center will be reopening at a new Ferndale location. It will open February 27th at 2376 Main Street, Suite #2, in the Mountain View Professional Center.
Hours are expected to be Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5pm. The new location, according to the announcement, provides parking adjacent to the building including multiple handicap spaces and Whatcom Transportation Authority buses stop in front of the building on Main Street.
PeaceHealth Laboratories operates 26 Patient Service Center locations in Oregon and Washington.
