
FERNDALE, Wash. — The National Weather Service Seattle office issued a wind advisory this morning forewarning of an overnight wind event beginning today, November 8th.
The advisory message says to expect sustained southerly winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts to 50mph between 10pm today and 12pm tomorrow.
The advisory applies to western Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties as well as Admiralty Inlet and the eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Computer weather forecast models currently warn the strongest winds are expected to occur in eastern Whatcom County during this wind event.
