The City of Ferndale announced last week they are accepting Planning Commission applications due to an expected vacancy.
Planning Commission Commissioner Victor Boulos said he will be stepping down at the end of the year. His current term would have otherwise continued to December 31, 2018.
Boulos was appointed to the Planning Commission in May of 2016 to replace Fred Kennedy. Kennedy is now a City Councilmember after being appointed by the Council in June to replace Brent Goodrich and recently ran uncontested in the General Election to retain his council seat.
Boulos said his professional workload did not allow him to fulfill the responsibilities of the Commission position.
