Ominous cloud formation seen headed toward Ferndale Sunday afternoon

It was reassuring to see the top of Mount Baker intact under this ominous cloud formation.

The clouds formed over Mount Baker as seen from Ferndale and proceeded to spread out westward while drifting toward the Ferndale area. The whole process was spread across several hours on Sunday afternoon, June 30th.
