The owner of the Quick-E Mart was disappointed with the lack of Pokémon Go activity around his store. But then he was approached by someone who said she could help.
Neighbors driving and walking by the Quick-E Mart at 6105 Portal Way are going to be entertained by a real live Pikachu-like character outside the store. According to the sign she’s waving, Pokémon Go players that find Pokémons in the area can get 10% off their purchases.
Ariel Happ approached Quick-E Mart Owner Amrit Sidhu with the idea to gain attention for his store with her Pikachu costume. “She offered to do it for free at first,” Sidhu told Discover Ferndale. “But this is a great idea that I have no problem paying her for.”
As a result, Happ will be outside posing for pictures and letting Pokémon Go players know of the discount awaiting inside the Quick-E Mart.
