The AM/PM ARCO gas station located at the intersection of Portal Way and Grandview Road was robbed last night according to Ferndale Police.
According Ferndale Police, they responded to an armed robbery report from the store clerk at the gas station about 2:50am. The clerk told officers a male who appeared to be Hispanic entered the store after parking at a fuel pump island. He was armed with a black handgun and wore a black and white bandana that covered his face.
The suspect confronted the store clerk with the handgun and took cash from the register. The suspect then forced the clerk to assist him in carrying the store safe out to the vehicle. The clerk reported to have been assaulted by the suspect while outside the store.
The store clerk saw a second suspect, an African American appearing male, sitting in the vehicle. The vehicle was described as a white or silver newer Honda CR-V.
The first suspect wore a black baseball cap with orange lettering, a red and black pull-over coat and blue jeans.
