Ferndale Golden Eagles and the Sedro-Woolley Cubs both went into this last regular game of the season tied for third in the league with Lynden with a 4-2 league record. Needless to say, there was a lot on the line since the loser could find themselves ranked 5th in the league depending on how the Lynden vs Blaine game goes.
Ferndale secured a solid win fighting off a late Sedro-Woolley rally with a final score of 20 to 16.
