Due to the lack of power over the weekend the Ferndale Food Bank reports they lost all the dairy products their cooler. According to Executive Director Suzanne Nevan, frozen products were not lost since everything in the freezer stayed frozen.
As a result Nevan is asking the community to help restock the following in the Food Bank’s cooler:
Cheese (shredded and block)
Butter
Eggs (need lots)
Cottage cheese
Yogurt
Donations can be dropped off Mondays through Thursdays from 8am to 2pm and Saturdays from 9am to 11am. The Food Bank is located at the southwest corner of the WTA Park and Ride Lot at 1671 Main Street.
