Why don’t we leave the flag at half staff permanently to recognize the daily carnage on our roads. What about the death and injury due to irresponsible drivers? What about the death and injury due to distracted driving and texting?

Why don’t we acknowledge the daily, awful, preventable carnage on our roads? Can somebody please explain?
