Whatcom County Fire District 7 (WCFD7) aid and fire crews responded to a total of 419 calls during the month of September according to Fire Chief Larry Hoffman. Calls included
* 4 building fires
* 335 medical emergencies including 18 vehicle crashes with injuries
* 5 hazardous condition calls
* 38 calls canceled en route
* 12 false alarms
WCFD7 averaged 13.97 calls per day during September.
