The Ferndale School District announced that a total of 72 donors gave blood at Ferndale High’s recent student organized blood drive.
Students Chloe Denessen, Hannah Sulak, Amy Matsudaira, Emma Vine, Kendyl Puhan and Elaine Morado organized the drive with assistance from Advisor Rick Brudwick and Nurse Lori Jo Erlichman.
Blood donations collected are critical to maintain a stable blood supply for surgeries, medical emergencies, and for supporting patients battling life-threatening illnesses like cancer and leukemia.
