Ferndale’s Aguilera 27th in State X-Country

Lummi boys’ cross country runner Enrique Medina, fresh off his Class 1B district title last week, placed 27th during the Class 1B/2B State Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

“He looked really strong the whole way,” Lummi cross country coach Amy Shimek said in a phone interview. “Overall, he did the best he could, and you can’t do better than your best. He had a great end to his senior season.”
