FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Library System, including the Ferndale Public Library, announced today, November 2nd, they are providing in-person visits by appointment starting today for the first time since closing in March due to state mandates related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Washington’s Safe Start plan now allows library buildings to open (PDF) for in-person visits at limited capacity according to today’s announcement.
Contactless curbside pickup and drop-off service offered since early June will continue to be available.
Hours to visit the Ferndale Public Library are 1pm to 5pm Monday through Saturday. The number of visitors will be limited to 25% of rated capacity so patrons are asked to keep visits brief and to be prepared to wait outside in the event maximum capacity has been reached.
