Montana media report a 25-year-old man from Ferndale is dead as the result of a single-vehicle rollover accident near Belt, Montana.
The victim’s name was being withheld awaiting next-of-kin notification. It was determined no one else was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, about 2:30am Sunday morning they received report of an accident on US Highway 89 near milepost 73. According to reports the driver was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Update 2/16/16: The victims name, Andrew James Davis, was released by the Cascade County sheriff’s office in Montana. According to friends of Davis, he grew up in Custer and was a graduate of Ferndale High School.
