Ferndale won two district games for the first time ever. That feat wasn’t enough as they battled in the Class 3A district consolation final against Arlington. They wanted to make it to State, something the Golden Eagles girls soccer has yet to do. The battle went into overtime, tied 1-1. It only the one goal from Arlington was all it took to make Ferndale wait another year.
Ferndale’s ended it’s best season 12-6-2 and finished fourth-place in District.
