Downtown business owners and decision-makers met with members of the Ferndale Downtown Association (FDA) at an informal gathering this evening. It was an opportunity to share each others’ concerns and ideas for ways to improve doing business in downtown Ferndale.
New downtown building owners and FDA members Chris and Bobbie Crawford hosted the event in their restored 1920s-era building, the Rowan Building, at 2013 Main Street.
The event also served as an opportunity for downtown business people to become members of the FDA which serves “to initiate and support activities that help revitalize the economy, appearance and image of downtown Ferndale.”
FDA secretary and board member Bertella Hansen said there will be more events like this in the future.
