People traveling on Main Street got a chuckle when they saw an 11-foot tall Kevin of movie fame decked out in Santa cap waving a candy cane. But last night, Kevin appeared to be the victim of a, ironically, despicable act.
A neighbor who lives in the apartment in the 2200 block of Main Street where Kevin had been waving at passerby awoke this morning to discover Kevin was missing.
Upon hearing the news, other neighbors took to social media to voice their disappointment noting how their they and their children would get excited every time they would see the huge grinning character known for his role alongside other minions in the movie “Despicable Me.”
According to sources, a police report has been made. If anyone has information about Kevin’s location, they are asked to contact the Ferndale Police Department. Anyone able to help Kevin return home is encouraged to leave him at Benson’s Grocery at Douglas Road and Main Street.
