A Ferndale Edaleen Dairy store is in the works according to company officials.
Edaleen General Manager Mitch Moorlag told Discover Ferndale, “We are really excited to become a part of the Ferndale community.”
The store will be located in the Ferndale Crossings development at 2nd Avenue and Portal Way by the roundabout. It will be in the space adjacent to Anytime Fitness. “We really fell in love with the Ferndale Crossings location when we first saw it,” said Moorlag.
The Ferndale Edaleen Dairy store will feature their ice cream much like the Grover Street store in Lynden and provide inside seating. It will be the fifth store in Whatcom County for the company, which has its main store in Lynden and other locations in Blaine, Sumas and downtown Lynden.

According to Edaleen Dairy Sales Manager Dave Dodson they have only recently closed on the property and plan to get started with remodeling right away. It is estimated they will be able to open early spring 2016.
