Second Avenue Sports was broken into overnight by a yet unknown person or persons.
Owner Emily Heiser said she didn’t realize anything was wrong after opening her store this morning. That is until she noticed money was missing from the cash register. Heiser was doing business today on a debit and credit card-only basis due to the burglary.
The burglar(s) also took pieces of autographed memorabilia including cards, jerseys and footballs.
While Ferndale Police are investigating the burglary, means of entry and other details are being withheld.
