Downpour delivers double rainbow to evening commuters

Evening commuters got a welcome treat yesterday, February 28th, when a downpour over Ferndale moved east creating a brilliant double rainbow as the setting sun moved beneath the cloud cover.

According to local weather stations, about 0.15 inches of rainfall fell between 4:50pm and 5:30pm reaching a rate of about .35 inches per hour at its peak.
