Signs of construction have appeared at the location for the Samuels Center project that promises to house a Starbucks as well as one other prospective tenant. The project is located in the previously undeveloped field at the center of the Samuel’s Furniture parking lot.
It was reported last year when permit applications submitted to the City of Ferndale described a 6800-square-foot building that will contain a Starbucks retail store complete with a drive-through window and inside and outside dining.
Today, work began to prepare the site for construction.
According to permit application documents Starbucks will occupy the west side of the building and Windermere Real Estate offices will be on the east side.
