Today, October 12th, is Columbus Day. Businesses and government entities closed in observance is a mixed bag unlike other nationally observed days.
Closed businesses include
- Post Office (no mail delivery)
- most financial businesses except those listed below
- Ferndale Public Library (While Columbus Day isn’t on their holiday calendar, the library is closed today for staff training)
Open businesses include
- Ferndale schools
- City of Ferndale offices
Ferndale Public Library- Wells Fargo
- Chase
- Industrial Credit Union (ICU)
