According to the latest radar images, a change in the weather is moving directly toward the Ferndale area and is already making its presence known.
The Ferndale area saw plenty of sun, clear skies and warm temperatures today but that is about to change.
Between 6:30pm and 8:45pm, the temperature reported by a weather station located near Ferndale High School dropped 13° degrees, from 79° to 66°.
The sky clouded over about the same time and small pockets of localized rain has begun to fall.
On the upside, the sunset was just as dramatic if not more.
