The closure occurred almost exactly 24 hours after a similar closure.
1 person was pronounced dead after leaving their crashed vehicle and being struck by another vehicle.
Law enforcement reported the incident had been safely resolved and all lanes of I-5 were reopened at 2:20pm.
She was accused of “disrupt[ing] the signal system designed to stop trains from crashing into each other or crashing into cars…. A car driving through the intersection (near the shunt) would not have warning that a train was coming.”
The charges stemmed from an incident when 2 men attempted to burglarize the same property a second time only to discover the victim lying in wait.
The incident was safely resolved about 7am and the road reopened in both directions soon after.
In times of bitter cold, low water pressure is a sign of frozen pipes.
Initial reports were of a head-on crash followed by a vehicle versus pole crash in the same area.
