Update 2:50pm - BPD said N State Street has been reopened.
Crews have been clearing the road for the past several weeks.
The road was closed in both directions for over 4 hours as a result.
Traffic impacts are expected to continue into September.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes or to plan for delays.
UPDATE 2:20pm - WSDOT officials said the road had been cleared of the slide debris and had been reopened to traffic.
Beginning tonight, flaggers will be alternating traffic through the Mt Baker Highway work area.
