Business co-owner Rhonda Wright says she is excited to open their business in Ferndale soon.
Wright says The Meeting Place, located at 5711 Vista Drive, on the corner of 4th Avenue and Vista Drive, will provide a hometown personal experience to their customers. She said customers can expect to eat and drink in a warm and relaxed atmosphere surrounded by local artwork and entertained by local musicians.
During a telephone interview, Wright said the drinks menu will include a variety of coffees and espresso drinks along with juices. The food menu will include personal pizzas, panini sandwiches, pastries, soups and salads.
“We’ve been involved in other business enterprises before but this time we are doing our own thing our way,” Wright said.

The Meeting Room will feature acoustic music performances by local musicians and has a piano located in what Wright referred to as their “music center.”
Artwork by local artists will be part of the interior decorations.
Included in the floorplan is a large private meeting area. “Your group can gather and close the door for privacy during meetings,” Wright said. “We have been getting calls from groups wondering when we are going to open so they can begin booking the room.”
Wright said they have been pushing their opening date forward for months and are currently looking at opening sometime in mid- to late April.
