A home at The Meadows residential development off Thornton Street was broken into and the burglars did not settle for just the television and electronics.
According to Ferndale Police, sometime between 5pm yesterday and this morning at 9am, someone gained entry to a residence in the 6000 block of Rossie Lane. No one resides at the residence which serves as a model home for the development. As such, no one was there when the residence was entered.
Items taken, according to police, included a sofa, television, bar stools, coffee maker and a clothes washer/dryer set. There are no suspects at this time, but the case remains under investigation.
