Broken glass shuts down Bellingham I-5 off-ramp

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Law enforcement was dispatched to the northbound I-5 off-ramp at Meridian Street about 11am on Tuesday, June 25th, due to reports of broken glass off a commercial vehicle.

An initial report from the scene was that a large glass plate had fallen from a commercial vehicle.

The off-ramp was temporarily closed while the commercial vehicle driver and Washington State Department of Transportation personnel cleared up the glass.

The off-ramp was reopened about 11:30am.
