WSP: 6 face racing, reckless driving charges in Whatcom County

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — On Saturday, June 6, 2026, officials with the Washington State Patrol (WSP) issued a statement reporting that, within the past week, WSP troopers arrested 6 drivers for racing of vehicles on highways and reckless driving.

Incidents have included excessive or unsafe speed, vehicles passing on shoulders, comparing speed & maneuverability amongst other driving behaviors. All of these have resulted in the vehicles being impounded.
