Bellingham power outage impacts over 2,700 Friday

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reported an outage in the Bellingham area began shortly after 3pm on Friday, June 5, 2026.

According to PSE, 2,733 of their business and residential customer addresses were impacted by the outage.

As of about 4pm, the estimate for restoring power was 6:30pm. The cause was identified as a bird or animal.
