BLAINE, Wash. — A Blaine man already under Department of Corrections supervision was booked into the Whatcom County Jail charged with drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Spokesperson Deb Slater told Whatcom News via email that several reports were made to 911 about gunshots in the 4600 block of Alderson Road in Blaine about 10:30pm on Tuesday, June 7th.

Residents reported hearing four to five shots in rapid secession and observed a silver Subaru Impreza speed away westbound on Alderson Road after stopping and firing another shot.
WCSO deputies responded to the area and, while interviewing witnesses, spotted the suspect vehicle driving near the intersection of Parkland Drive and Alderson Road.
Deputies stopped the vehicle in the 8100 block of Harborview Road. 3 people were found in the vehicle.
The driver and back seat passenger said the front seat passenger was the shooter. The front seat passenger was identified as Shawn Dale Noisey, age 38, of Blaine. A criminal history check at the time showed Noisey has 14 prior felony convictions.
During a consented search of the vehicle, deputies located a loaded semi-automatic handgun under the seat and a box containing 28 rounds of 9-millimeter ammunition on the front seat passenger floor. The driver told deputies Noisey handed him the gun to stash under the driver’s seat before being stopped.
Slater said Noisey is under active supervision by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and a DOC condition is that he is not to purchase or own a firearm or ammunition.
Noisey was arrested and booked into Whatcom County Jail charged with suspicion of drive-by shooting and 2nd degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
Noisey has prior felony convictions that include vehicular assault, harassment, attempting to elude, taking a motor vehicle without permissions, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, theft and possession of stolen property.
As of 2:30pm, Noisey remained in custody while awaiting a preliminary court appearance this afternoon, June 8th.
UPDATE: Bail was set at $150,000 during the preliminary hearing.

14 felony CONVICTIONS and he’s not in jail for life. Who were the sentencing judges?!
At least two counts of felony firearms enhancement there, plus attempted murder from the drive by shooting. No plea bargaining please!
