FERNDALE, Wash. — The 3 co-owners of Ferndale Pharmacy, Norman Tang, Sanjeev Nagpal and Kamalpreet Dhami, are putting their nearly 2 decades of industry experience, including working for leading chains, into running their new independent pharmacy located in downtown Ferndale.
Ferndale Pharmacy is located at 2057 Alder Street, on the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and Alder Street, and has a large parking lot, ramp to the entrance and covered drive-through window.
According to Tang, in addition to providing full-service pharmacy services, they are also providing immunizations such as seasonal flu shots, shingles vaccine and, once available to the general public, the COVID-19 vaccine.
A soft opening is underway with 15% discounts available for items available on the store shelves including over-the-counter healthcare products, treatments and supplies.
The 2-story building provides for office spaces on the 2nd floor for healthcare providers upstairs, “providing a 1-stop shop experience,” for the providers’ patients. The 2nd floor is served by an elevator. According to Tang, there is also a space available on the main floor for a healthcare provider.
Ferndale Pharmacy officially opened for business this past weekend according to Tang and a grand opening is planned in a few weeks.
The Ferndale Pharmacy is open 7 days a week. Hours are 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 3pm Saturdays and Sundays.
