A weather station on Jeffcott Place (by the high school) recorded a wind gust of 70.6mph just before 9pm tonight, January 27th.
Regardless of the powerful gusts, power remains on throughout the city based on PSE’s current outage map (knock on wood).
The National Weather Service forewarned of the winds with an advisory earlier today.
