WSDOT: North Cascades Highway closed for the season tomorrow (Thur.)

Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced today, Wednesday, November 29th, that the North Cascade Highway (SR20) will be closed for the season as of 6pm on Thursday, November 30th.

The closure points will be at the Ross Dam trailhead (milepost 134) on the west side and the Silver Star gate (milepost 171) on the east side.

In addition, Cayuse (SR123) and Chinook Passes (SR410) were already closed for the season.

All will remain closed until they can be safely reopen in the spring.
