FERNDALE, Wash. — This morning, the National Weather Service Seattle office issued a Wind Advisory from 1pm today, December 19th, to 1am tomorrow.
According to the alert, sustained south winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts to 50mph are expected in western Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties.
With winds this strong, power outages resulting from downed trees and tree limbs are a possibility.
